Front end web design for artist musician

Project: To replace the existing uninspiring online presence of a musican with something a lot more fitting and unique for the artist as a creative person.

We were shown the below illustrations that had already been created for the artist by a third party and suggested that these would fit in well with a deconstructed website style.

The illustrations have been taken and used within the page design and as part of the inspiration for the design style of the website.

You may note the raven sitting on a picture frame as a link to the photo gallery. When were drew this we were thinking along the lines of 'The Picture of Dorian Gray meets The Raven' as our creative inspiration for this graphic - it seemed fitting in view of the artistic nature of the website.

During our research we were led to an Wikipedia entry about Edgar Allan Poe, the writer of 'The Raven' - you may find his life a fascinating read, as we did.
