Sorry, this is my Bono moment (Sir Bono now, and quite rightly).

I’m sure you all enjoy visiting this blog (I hope!) to look at the pretty pictures and gain inspiration and guidance for your business (I hope!), can you please take a moment from working hard at your business goals to think about directing a little bit of that passion your have for your business to helping out others much much less fortunate than yourselves.

For a long time now Truly Ace has been fundraising very slowly for a charity that supports children around the world – you can read about this atwww.trulyace.com/charity.html and consider making a donation, I would seriously be very happy if you even just donated £1, I really would, please don’t be embarrassed to donate a small amount, any amount is wonderful.

I have a decent amount of donations to this cause, but it’s been a while since I had one and I would like a boost to this fund. In fact checking it, I haven’t had a donation since April!

Whilst you are on the charity page you will also see a link to an amazing story, I recommend you click it and read the story of the Banana Man (or click this link now), this is a real person that I’ve spoken to and his story is very inspiring.

I also recently heard of this website (http://www.lightfromafrica.org/) selling beautiful African art from African artists (mainly ceramics) and all proceeds go to Aids charities. The art is stunning and you would want to purchase it anyway even without the charitable considerations. It’s very unusual and interesting.

As you are probably aware there is a huge Aids epidemic in Africa resulting in many orphaned children, whose future then becomes very bleak. You can help them by adorning your home with one of these beautiful pieces of African art.
