Boutique Babylon Goes Live

(Look at the chandelier!)
Boutique Babylon went live two weeks ago in a bonanza of a launch party including a catwalk show and music by resident DJ Joseph Anton.
Boutique Babylon first came to Truly Ace in July this year asking for a brand that was retro in feel for a new retail shop based in London, Clapham High Street no less.
It was important that we capture the retro feel in a modern way so as to avoid giving the impression of being a thrift shop and also to convey the concept of music. Why capture music you ask?
The simple answer is that Boutique Babylon features a regular in-house dj, combined with guest djs for combined music and fashion events. It’s not just shopping on offer, it’s an ‘experience’ at Boutique Babylon. This is apt as the Clapham area is rife with festivals and concerts in the summer months.

But there’s more!
Boutique Babylon owner Rowena Gray wasn’t just content with a competition crushing retail shop in Clapham High Street, noooo…..she wanted more than that, she wanted to conquer the world, and you will be pleased to know that not only did she commission us to design her brand, we were also commissioned to design the online shop extension of the Boutique Babylon brand including front page illustrated scene. (Built by www.bluecubemedia.co.uk)
Yes, that’s right, you can get Boutique Babylon online also. “So what” you are possibly thinking, online small business fashion shops? ….a dime a dozen.
Well take a look I say - the range is far more exciting than your average small business fashion shop. Boutique Babylon has a fabulous range for any young, or young at heart fashionista, stocking brands such as Lipsy, Anna Lou and Bombay Duck.

Go on, click the image above and visit, I know you can’t resist.

Of course we were also commissioned to design a flyer (below) to attract Londoners to the shop, featuring from products from the range, neatly blended with the Boutique Babylon brand.

As well as stationery….
