Truly Ace was launched in 2001.

I was told during my first forays into online business networking from someone who viewed my earliest work to ‘not give up the day job’ and that this ‘was not my talent’.

I secretly agreed with this rather cutting assessment of my design skills (scarily bad skills at this point), but nevertheless plodded on with determination to get better, and better, and better. I have got much better -some people think I’m fab now …but there’s always plenty of room for improvement.

Currently I provide a range of services and these include logo design, web design (front end), layout design for print, and illustration. You can view portfolios on the MAIN SITE >>.

There has been temptation in the past to offer web development, content provision and the like, but I’ve decided to stick to what I’m best at and what I enjoy the most and thats creative design. I’m told by the marketing bods that this narrowing and defining of services is a ‘niche’…..well I’m rather happy in it, and think I’ll stay put for a long time yet.

You might wonder…or maybe not because no one has ever asked (why is that) why we are called ‘Truly Ace’ - quite simply our customer service is truly ace, better than anyone elses I guarantee and I make sure of that each and every day. So that’s our brand…truly ace customer service, truly ace customer care and truly ace standard of design.

I will endeavour to be gramatically correct in my blogs, but I’m a busy lady more interested in design and customer service than going through my writing with a fine toothed comb for grammatical errors and typos - therefore I am not promising perfection!
